Our HSE plan defines the HSE planning for the whole project and is the principal HSE management system documentation prepared for the projects. In preparation of this document due regard has been paid to the requirements of Code of Construction Practice (guidelines for the Construction Industry in the Emirates of Dubai) – Adopted under Local order 61/1991, ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 series system of standards.

The plan demonstrates that project management has specified the project policies and objectives, established a system of procedures to accomplish them, assigned duties, delegated authority and set up suitable inspection, testing, examination and audit programs to verify that the requisite standards of performance will be achieved. Ishtar HSE Manual, HSE Procedures and Company Standard Forms are defined the Company’s integrated management systems and are applied “as-is” without change unless defined otherwise in this HSE Plan and / or via a project specific procedure .

Our Objectives

  • Assign duties, delegate authority and set up suitable inspection, testing and audit programs to verify that the required standards of performance will be achieved.
  • Ishtar’s HSE Procedure and Company Standard Forms are defined by the Company’s integrated management systems.
  • HSE Planning shall be applied to all contract activities including the overall project management and control, planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and all related monitoring, inspection and testing.
